I’m Moving!

Creative Content Company Facebook Cover

Hello Lovely Readers 🙂

For some of you I will be moving (and I would love for you to come too) and for others I will be staying here (but you can move as well too if you would like?).

I am setting up as a freelance under the name Creative Content Company, chosen by Rikki Lear (Well Done for winning that Blog Post Rikki, glad you like it!) This means that I have a business facebook page, where I would love to see your beautiful faces ‘liking’ me page – https://www.facebook.com/CreativeContentCompany and I am in the process of setting up a new website.

Now, this is where the move may happen.

If you follow my blog for SEO Tips then you will notice these will start to be taken off and they will be moved to the blog on the new site. This site will continue to be uploaded with new SEO Tip posts so you can still grab them there. However, if you follow my blog for my random ramblings these will be staying here, but you are welcome to come to the new site as well to learn new things about SEO.

The new site, which is not yet launched, will be www.creativecontentcompany.co.uk and will be live by the end of September 2013 at the very latest. Through the Creative Content Company I will be able to offer freelance writing, blog content, SEO Tips, Facebook and Twitter Management, Social Media Training and so much more so if this is something of interest for your business then drop me a line or have a look at the new site.

It’s not a Good Bye to anyone as I will still be around here and my new site – this is an exciting next chapter for Hazel L Cottrell and I would love for you to be a part of it!

HELP – I Need A Company Name

Over the last few weeks and months my writing schedule has become busier and busier. People are telling their friends about my writing skills and I am gaining more business and more new clients every week, so it’s come to a point when I have decided to up my game.

I am going to keep this blog going on a personal level (the random ramblings and rants will continue right here, along with film reviews and terrible dates), then I will have a brand new site that will list the services I offer on an SEO, Social Media and Content Writing basis. On this new site I will have a blog and that is where all my professional articles about SEO, Social Media and Content Writing will be.

But here is why I need your help; I need a new company name. HazelLCottrell was a name I liked but I want something that explains what I do – but what do I do? I will keep this domain for this site, but what domain can company name should I use for my new site?

Here is what I do and the words I would like someway involved in my company name;

  • Creative Writer
  • Blogger
  • Engaging Writer
  • Social Media
  • SEO Tips
  • Informal Writer
  • Content Writer
  • Blog Writer
  • Article Writer
  • Content Creator

So, I hand over this challenge to you and I add a reward for the best company name. All you have to do is put your company name idea below and the winner (my favourite company name) will receive one article about their industry, completely free of charge!

What better competition prize is there than that?

My Beehive Review

As some of you may know, I am now working part-time at The Beehive in Peterbough, it’s a gorgeous bar and restaurant, brilliant food and lovely staff (me). However I was thrilled when I got this text to me by my boss!

“Excellent Service”
5 of 5 starsReviewed 24 May 2013

I visited here recently and found the service and food to be second to none. Hazel was my waitress, she was very polite and attentive to my needs without being over the top. She seems to have a natural ‘customer service’ skill and fits in well at the restaurant. It is clear she has been working there for quite some time.

We will definitely be visiting again soon.

If you come to The Beehive and I give you great service or you enjoy your visit, please leave a review for me 🙂

Film Review – Hangover Part Three

I went to see Hangover, Part Three at the weekend. I hadseen the first one and thought it was good, I felt the second was better and had high expectations for the thirs having seen the trailer for it. Sadly I personally felt let down by it, I laughed twice (once at the beginning where he cries…. wwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (for a long time) and then again after some of the lines had rolled at the end).

Apart from these two parts I felt the film was predictable, badly made and even boring in places.

Interestingly there are really mixed reviews from friends, one of my friends loves it and wants to go and see it again, yet when my cousin asked about it on Facebook everyone said it was terrible (and other ruder words to that affect). Personally I felt let down by the film, but it seems to be a ‘Marmite’ film, you either love it or you hate it!

Review – Breakfast Time

I have found a new place for breakfast and it’s delicious! I have recently been going to Brewers Fayre, Brampton Hut for breakfast – it gives you the choice of healthy or ‘unhealthy’ and there’s a lot to choose from for what I think is a very reasonable price.

It is £8.25 for a ‘Premier Breakfast’ this includes a full serve yourself cooked breakfast which offers eggs (scrambled or fried), beans, sausages, bacon, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and the like. Then you can help yourself to fruit juices and hot drinks. There are also cereals, chopped fruits, yoghurts and then just round the corner is a selection of croissants, bread, toast, muffins and crumpets.

The service is pretty good, but as much as the staff are darting around to get everyone seated, cleared and tables relayed their service at the table is not really required as such, as you pretty much help yourself to what you want.

I think this is an ideal breakfast location and better than just a great value breakfast I was then able to sit in the bar with my lap top and get some blogging done too – just perfect!

My New Favourite App

Recently I have written posts about the Sleep Pillow App which helps me go to sleep and the Hay Day Game App which allows me to create the farm of my dreams, feed my animals and make some scrummy looking food which I can sell for gold coins.

I have now found another app / game that I enjoy and this is called Candy Crush – at least I did enjoy this game until I told a friend about it, I told him how annoyed I was with level 29 and that I was unable to get past it. He then tried it and within a week he was on Level 30. I have now been stuck on Level 29 for over three weeks!

The idea of the game is to switch pieces of candy to make 3, 4 or 5 in a row in the time limit, then as each level goes up you have different challenges to complete, such as removing cages, jelly or brick wall type things.

It’s a pretty addictive game, and you gain 1 life every 30 minutes up to five lives.

Please feel free to play this excellent fun and addictive game – but it you get past level 29 please do not tell me about it!
